Colin is Head of the Firm’s Real Estate practice, with over 30 years of experience in Land Law and Title Research. His areas of practice also include Probate and Estate Planning, Immigration and Real Estate Development, in addition to, securing all relevant Government Approvals incidental to such Developments. Mr. Thompson is considered as one of the Genius Attorneys in The Bahamas in Land Law and his expertise and attention to detail can be credited to his Grandfather, Father and two (2) brothers, all of whom were Land Lawyers.

Mr. Thompson is a graduate of the Government High School and completed his legal studies at the University of Hull, England and the Bar Vocation Course at University of Northumbria, Newcastle, England.

Colin has served his country being a former member of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and upon invitation by the Training Department he has conducted presentations to graduating Recruits pertaining to the importance of purchasing property as investment.

Colin was called to the Bar in England and the Bahamas Bar in 2000. He is a Member of The Honourable Society of Inner Temple and the Bahamas Bar Association.
