Summary[edit]
DescriptionAcetabularia Exp 1.jpg |
English: Summary of work by Joachim Hämmerling and Jean Brachet in the 1930s to the 1950s. Experiment 1 was designed to test the hypotheses that something in the holdfast or stalk controls the shape of the cap. The caps were cut from the two species and the holdfasts were grafted together. |
