Yeah, I will give you that for All The Girls and Survival. I think about the same for KC. In the Court, Beat, Thrak, to name a few.

  6. I recently purchased the Blind Faith SHM SACD from Import CDs, and it came with that cover. I didn't buy it for the cover, I bought it because I love the music, and the SHM SACD sounds spectacular. But that's one CD I won't leave lying around on the coffee table in the den.

In all fairness this album came out in the same era as Shock Treatment. Both covers have the guys "made up". I wonder if the artwork was produced by the same firm?

I have the SHM SACD also.....I do not sit and stare at the cover....it's the music. I'd love the release if there was a bag of dirt on the cover. The SACD FINALLY gives this wonderful release the sound it has lacked for ever.....finally. It is amazing.

not sure if it was released on vinyl, but this has to be the worst cover for a mega superstar, no creativity in this at all, the worst ever...

No - Bruce fans can be very critical, and they knock Bruce's many bad album covers.

A lot of diehard Bruce fans never seem to be happy with anything he does - they're the "man, he was better in 1977!" crowd mainly...

Nah, looks like something I drew on my notebook in 7th grade...and ironically, I first got that album summer of '88, right before I started 7th grade.

I'm a huge Guess Who fan, but I found the Road Food cover so revolting I didn't even want to touch it. A lot of people must have felt the same.

Well said. A lot of people seem to be taking a "wallpaper" approach to cover art, whereby, if it isn't pretty and entirely inoffensive, it's some kind of a massive affront to good taste.

Are you serious, or is this your way of agreeing that it's a terrible cover?

I'm a big Cheap Trick fan, but this is one of the all-time worst LP covers. (And just for the record, I've got nothing against clowns.)

The image even made it onto T-shirts. <shudder>

Looks like a great, contemporary art influenced cover to me. The lettering alone is impressive.
