Canadian actress Ellen Page is no stranger to rave reviews for her performances.
But the Oscar nominee isn’t happy with the latest acclaim – because it’s not for her work.
Page says the newly launched video game The Last of Us has used her likeness, even though she’s starring in another, yet-to-be-released game.
The actress made the comments Sunday during a question-and-answer session with fans on the website Reddit.
One poster remarked that the protagonist in the zombie-themed game, named Ellie, looks and sounds like the petite brunette.
Page replied that she should probably be “flattered,” but doesn’t appreciate the look-alike given that she’s playing the role of Jodie Holmes in the upcoming game Beyond: Two Souls alongside actor Willem Dafoe.
Page has also been getting positive, although misdirected, feedback about the role on Twitter – praise she’s been redirecting to the actress who actually played Ellie, Ashley Johnson.
