About Crassula mesembryanthemoides
Plants in the Crassula genus are amazingly diverse and come in an incredible assortment of sizes and colors. Many of the ones we grow today are native to a small region in South Africa, which makes that diversity even more amazing! They're super low maintenance plants that can handle long periods of drought, so great if you're prone to skipping waters (we won't tell). 🫢 Make sure they get plenty of sunlight and that they're planted in a pot with a drainage hole and they'll be happy as can be!

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Crassula mesembryanthemoides after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Mealy Bug on well watered Succulent 🙄🫠 So last week I noticed some weird white fine stringy stuff on this succulent and I was like 😱 oh no! spider mites!😱 but then I wasn’t sure if it was just the plants fuzz because it’s also fuzzy. Either way, i sprayed it with insecticidal soap and let it sit for 5 minutes and washed it down so I could pat dry the leaves. The leafs hold water because of the fuzzes so I needed to make sure to dry them. I didnt see any bugs that time but this morning I found a MeaLY BUG! It hasn’t been a week since I treated it last and I want to treat it again but I’m scared that will lead to over watering because I’m sure right now it’s at full capacity of water in leaves. I was wondering, should I just remove it from the soil and treat it or should I just treat it in the pot, cross my fingers and hope it doesn’t rot? 😬 the foliage is very rough fuzz almost like Velcro so i don’t think alcohol on a Q-tip will work on this plant because it will just take all the q-tip fuzz off 🤭 so I think I have to continue taking the insecticidal soap method. 😔 sad because it’s one of my favorites. #SucculentSquad #PestControl #SucculentLove

Can my big beautiful jade recover from black spots on its leaves? I’ve sprayed neem oil on it and repotted it in a chunky mix with systemic granules. #Crassula

The leaves are showing brown spotting, as if they had been bit or burned. What could it be due to & what should I do ? #Crassula

What are these brown spots on my Crassula moonglow? I got this 3 weeks ago and noticed that 1 brown spot. It is in well draining soil and the pot has drainage, and they are indoors under grow lights. I watered it for the first time 5 days ago when the leaves started getting soft and floppy. Now the leaves are firm, but I am noticing more brown spots. I was able to scratch them off with my fingernail and they're dry and scab-like. Dies anyone know what this is? #crassula #crassulamoonglow #moonglow #brownspots #spots #fungus #rust #succulenthelp #help #succulentquestion #question
