自己是市區人，有點愧疚，最初認識此花是在兵頭花園 (動植物公園)。嬌美茂盛的花朵，見於園內栽種園圃的矮小植物，不覺此是藤蔓植物。 後知後覺地，今年第一次欣賞到野外花盛狀況，才真正感受此植物的特性。 此常綠藤本原生於南亞及中國。全年開花，但以夏秋最盛。 大埔滘郊野公園山谷間，藍紫色瀑布漫山傾瀉，美極。 總狀花序，懸垂性，大花呈唇狀；花冠藍紫色，喉部淺黃色。按《樹木谷》所指，「大花老鴉嘴」名稱前半描述其花，後半比擬其果；果熟轉黑、張口。葉厚對生，葉形多樣，心型至卵形。 this vine is easy and pretty. it blooms in the tropic all year round. it is native to south asia, including bengal and india; as well as to china. for us the flowering seasons come spring and autumn. two of its chinese common names start with “large flowered”. that...
