Marcel Wanders: 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee
Marcel Wanders is an industrial and interior designer, whose acclaimed studio, founded in 1996 and bearing his name, is credited with more than 1,900 projects. He works with brands such as Alessi, Baccarat, Bisazza, Christofle, Flos, KLM, Louis Vuitton, Morgans Hotel Group, Puma, Roche Bobois, and Swarovski. His designs are celebrated in the world’s most renowned museums, including the Centre Pompidou, MoMA, and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. In 2001, Wanders co-founded the successful design label Moooi, in which he acts as owner, art director, and product designer. Moooi is a design company that produces, distributes, and markets the work of different international designers.
