Reasonable ticket price and expansive exhibition space. MMoT is not a registered museum, but it does fulfill the qualities of a museum.

The miniatures are mostly replicas of Western architecture, so if you're hoping for Taiwanese or Asian sites, you'll only find a few common Japanese miniature sets.

However, the works that are present are fantastic and you could easily spend two hours there. It isn't terribly crowded on off days. Very quiet. I will go back with friends.

So this place is interesting. I've been to Taipei several times and wanted to try something different. This is exactly what I was looking for. It's a few blocks from the subway and in the sub-basement of a business building. It's cheap and has a cute gift shop at the end. The miniatures are cool and complex. You can tell there hasn't been too much added since this place opened. So it has an old feel to it, but that's fine. I doubt this place is making money hand over fist. We blew through in about 30 minutes. So don't expect a full day of fun. It's more of a novelty experience. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary then drop in here.

I didn't expect to really enjoy this museum or for my husband to. We both left saying, "That was pretty cool!"

Like many girls, I grew up with dolls, so maybe this pulled on my heart strings of seeing so many tiny miniatures/ dolls. Plus, the detail and obvious craftsmanship is amazing. The working tv or special effects to some of them are quite interesting. Further, the way it was arranged was quite nice, though the ending is a bit weird - dinosaurs???

I especially thought children would love it and having the "passport" they could stamp was a cute idea.

Overall, this was a lovely way to spend about an hour.

This is the cutest museum you will ever visit!
I'm sure lots of girls, including myself, dreamt out having a dollhouse when they were younger.
This museum is going to blow your mind! Everything is so detailed. Definitely worth visit when you are here in Taipei.

Tickets are $180 NT, so around $5-6 USD.
A little bit expensive considering the size of museum is pretty small, but still worth coming!

      Super excellent museum!

I came here with my host family and I'm so glad they brought me because I never would have known this was here! It's kind of hidden in a giant office building so be careful not to miss it. From the exterior I thought the museum would be a small one, but I was totally wrong; it went on and on and on!

The exhibits are excellently presented and there are so many of them that you can definitely spend a few hours examining the delicate miniatures. They have everything from Alice in Wonderland to Snow White to old mining towns to Buckingham Palace!

Their gift shop is super cute too and worth a look. They sell a few of the miniatures so you can buy and take them home if you like!

My 10 and 6 yrs old girls enjoyed it. They wished their house was like the Rose Mansion. Hahahhaa. Compared to ticket prices here in US, US$5-6 is not bad at all. This appeals to girls more than boys, I think. Hey, it has AC, restroom is clean(at least the lady's), and it is unusual. Minus one star for not all signs are translated into English.

Not really worth the ntd180 to go in. There wasn't much to see and budgeting 1 hour for it was an overkill. Honestly, there are other museum with similar features ( ie Chicago art institute ground floor feature similar items in additional to famous painting ie American gothic)
