The rapper told the Los Angeles Times that he finally “got to get some Taylor time” at the awards show after attending her Eras Tour show last year. “The discussion [at the event] was about me congratulating her on all her success. At the event, he rocked the 1989 (Taylor’s Version)-themed cardigan and explained to PEOPLE in a red carpet interview that he’s always impressed by how "every lyric that she spits out relates to life."
