I’m new to AKB48. I discovered them while listening to one of the closing songs on Wreck-it Ralph...S-U-G-A-R Sugar Rush! Then upon reading some of the reviews about this album I purchased this CD/DVD not knowing quite what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I heard the first track. I liked their music so much I went online and watched their MVs on YouTube: River, Baby! Baby! Baby! Baby!, and Choose Me! Now I’m hooked. I don’t know any Japanese, but thanks to AKB48 I am learning Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. They have such beautiful voices, and their dance routines are well choregraphed. There really is nothing like AKB48 in American music. Their songs are much more inspirational than the likes of Taylor Swift, and so many other no talents on American music scene. I would much rather listen to, or watch AKB48 any day!
This CD / DVD combo rocks!!! DVD: 3 choreography videos??? The DVD does not have any music videos (watch those elsewhere). Instead it makes full use of the 'view/angle/perspective' button on our supposedely 'outmoded' DVD players!, by allowing one to view the AKB48 members performing (against a white background) the 3 tracks available, from solo to the group being viewed from the top, center, left, or right. So for anybody who perhaps never fully appreciated the choreography of musical performances, this a GEM, in that you view so many individuals seemingly doing their own thing, but, given the proper perspective, it's apparent that they're coalescing into one awesome entertainment. The CD, 2nd album of AKB48, features all their japanese singles, from that time as well as a few extra tracks to showcase their wide appeal musically. Very upbeat & spirituality uplifting! So for anybody wondering why AKB48 is a japanese phenomenon (i.e. close to 30 consecutive #1's, pre-ordrs close to 1 million with each), this is a MUST-BUY! EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC!!!
Absolutely loved AKB back in 2010, got this album on itunes. For some reason itunes took it off the store so I bought the physical copy. still LOVE it. The songs are catchy and upbeat and just fun to listen to. This is definitely my favorite AKB album i have.
A very nice collection of AKB songs. I enjoy listening to them while travelling in my car. It makes the trips easier if I have good music to listen to.
An amazing album that will please any AKB48 fan. A little expensive for an album, but that's what you pay to have Pop history in your car. So happy with my purchase.

Dans cet album des morceaux a succès telles que : River ,l'excellent BABY BABY, Maybe et bien d'autres etc.. Un vrai mélange de pop sublime de nos merveilleuses Japonaises que compose cette team;la musique vous transporte,tellement elle est d'un rythme positive;je je recommande cet album pour les fans de ce groupe ainsi que ce de jpop
Since I played Yakuza 5 I love idol pop :-)! So I searched for japanese idol pop and found this cd! It's a great cd, enjoyable in every sense. I reccomend it to all who love japanese idol pop music.
