Ethan Hawke joined the MCU earlier this year when he made his debut as Arthur Harrow in Disney+ series Moon Knight, however, it’s not the only big TV show from this year he has a connection to.
The actor’s daughter, Maya Hawke, has made a name for herself with her portrayal of Robin Buckley in Netflix's hugely popular sci-fi series Stranger Things.
Chatting recently about his daughter, who he shares with ex-wife Uma Thurman, Hawke shared the pride he feels when watching her work.

"I loved the show," Hawke told Entertainment Tonight, while reflecting on Maya’s role in Stranger Things. "I'm so proud of her, 'cause I think she does a great job, but I'm most happy for her that she's surrounded by these other amazing, talented young people.
"That was my experience on Dead Poet's Society, getting to be surrounded by other young people who were in love with the same thing that I was in love with, getting to tell a story that affects your generation."
Gushing further about the Netflix hit, he added: "Stranger Things is a defining creative force for this generation, and so I'm so proud of Maya and I'm so happy for her, and I know it's just the beginning."

Praising his daughter’s talents, the Marvel actor insisted Maya has grown into an adult he admires, describing her as passionate, serious, funny and playful.
Maya is expected to return as Robin and battle the horrors of the Upside Down when Stranger Things comes back for its fifth and final series.
She’s set to star alongside fellow returning cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, David Harbour and Winona Ryder.
Stranger Things seasons 1-4 are available on Netflix now.
