A Pa. woman got the final rose Thursday night during the premiere of the new ABC show, The Golden Bachelor, featuring a 71-year-old widower looking for a second chance at love.

Susan Noles, 66, from Delaware County, was among the 16 women to make the next round of the television show that intends to find a fiancee for Gerry Turner, a retired restauranteur from Indiana.

The one-hour premiere started with 22 women, including Noles, a wedding officiant in the Philadelphia area and former hair and makeup artist. She avoided becoming one of the six who were sent home and won the coveted “final rose,” of the night, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

All of the contestants on the series are between 60 and 75 years old.

Noles, of Aston Township, drew attention for her introduction when she stepped out of a limo dressed in a sequined and feathered ball gown.

“You see these heels?” she said to Turner about her stilettos. “I’m very comfortable with 6 inches.”

Her daughter, watching from home, told the Philadelphia Inquirer the comment made her jaw drop.

“That’s Susan,” Brittany Noles Law told the Inquirer.

Susan Noles is the former wife of Phillies pitcher, Dickie Noles, according to the Philly Voice. He still works for the organization.

Susan Noles is an avid golfer who owns a pair of pink go-go boots and loves concerts, according to DelcoToday. She has three children and six grandchildren.

Last month, ABC announced that a Collegeville, Pa., man will star as the next “Bachelor” in 2024. Joey Graziadei was “The Bachelorette” Charity Lawson’s runner-up on her season finale on Aug. 21.
