Description

This Successful ESL High Beginners Module continues to introduce the English language basics to students 13 and older. This textbook has been sold in more than 60 countries.
Module 2: Basics for High Beginners - Parts 1 and 2
These Modules are in PDF Format, and can be downloaded as soon as purchased.
Module 2 can be bought in the complete form, or as Module 2 Part 1 and Module 2 Part 2. Each Part contains 20 lessons. The time for each lesson will vary greatly, depending on the students' background.
Module 2 Part 1 Includes:
- A Student Reader - 40 pages, a Student Workbook - 48 pages, and a Teacher's Guide - 64 pages.
Activities that involve writing, speaking and reading.
There are 20 lessons, including 5 review lessons, 5 tests, and a glossary.
Part 1 Fun Learning Activities:
There are small group activities, role-plays, Bingo games, oral questions, gathering information using false names, finding a friend using false names. Oral questions, and team games. You will also find many games to strengthen the students' vocabulary.
Points of Grammar Covered in Part 1:
Adverbs, Adjectives, Two word verbs, Expressing necessity, Using "in" and "on" with time, comparatives, Articles, Sentence word order, The use of "would" and "have got".
Activities Involving Conversation and Language
Ordering in a restaurant, Making travel arrangements, Discussing hobbies, Talking about comparative distances.
Module 2 Part 2 Includes:
- A Student Reader - 41 pages, a Student Workbook - 52 pages, and a Teacher's Guide - 64 pages.
Activities that involve writing, speaking and reading.
There are 20 lessons, including 5 review lessons, 5 tests, and a glossary.
Part 2 Fun Learning Activities:
Role-playing, Word bingo, Crossword puzzles, city map reading, simple jokes, describing your friend, Oral questions in teams or teacher led.
Points of Grammar Covered in Part 2:
Tag questions, Word order, Adjective word order, Conditional sentences, Use of "though", "although" and "but", Tag questions with "could", "should", or "would".
Activities Involving Conversation and Language
Discussions about famous singers, Conversations about early flight, Skiing vacation in Canada, Canadian heroes, Travel to Niagara Falls, Australia, and India.
