This article is more than 8 years old

Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse at the Royal Academy (RA) is one of the most talked-about exhibitions of the year so far. We’re offering Guardian Members the chance to win a pair of much sought-after exhibition tickets along with cocktails for two and an exhibition catalogue. There are two runner-up prizes of a pair of exhibition tickets. The draw closes on 29 March

Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse charts the emergence of the garden as a major subject in art, from Monet to Matisse, via Cézanne, Van Gogh, Klimt and Kandinsky.

For these artists and others, the garden gave them the freedom to break new ground and explore the ever-changing world around them. The show culminates with Monet’s famous waterlilies paintings, the Agapanthus Triptych, displayed in the round and on show for the first time in the UK.

To celebrate this stunning and hugely popular exhibition, we’re offering Guardian Members the chance to win a pair of tickets to see the show; a delicious English Garden cocktail for the winner and their guest and a beautiful exhibition catalogue. There are two runner-up prizes of a pair of tickets.

The exhibition is sponsored by BNY Mellon, Partner of the Royal Academy of Arts and is co-organised by the Royal Academy of Arts and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
