東海岸面對太平陽一片遼闊，任何地方都是迎接第一道曙光的好去處。長濱海岸的露營地旁，走出帳篷就能漫步沙灘賞迎日光，再好不過。

全台最低海拔就可以觀看曙光雲海的景點就在台南，二寮觀日亭更是迎新年曙光的重要景點。朝陽在繚繞雲霧的丘陵間緩緩升起，彷彿潑墨山水在眼前由暗到明，地貌與天光雲影瞬息萬變美不勝收。

在蘇花公路起點的東澳灣還有處人煙稀少的秘境，純樸的小漁港旁一片寧靜的海岸望去，矗立了一座座如小山的岩石，這是粉鳥林最為人知的面貌。金黃色的日出閃爍在海上岩石之間，彷彿桂林山水一般，寧靜地迎接第一道曙光飽覽粉鳥林一天中最美的樣子。

跨年曙光秘境#24 日月潭金龍山
攝影愛好者心中台灣有三大日出勝地：北格頭、中五城、南二寮，這些秘境勝地都是低海拔就能看見雲海配朝陽的無敵景觀。日月潭旁的金龍山就是所謂的中五城，從金龍山的觀日亭可以俯瞰魚池盆地的美景，一覽山水風光。

跨年曙光秘境#25 小笠原山觀日平台
赫赫有名的阿里山日出除了祝山觀日平台，能夠360度一次看遍中央山脈、玉山山脈及阿里山山脈的小笠原觀景台也是小火車沿線的當紅景觀，高山的林相與景觀與一般低海拔的森林還是有明顯的不同，若能來訪一趟高山日出，肯定氣氛大有不同。
