Move over Black Tap Milkshakes and Cronuts, because there’s a new sweet treat that the citizens of the internet are obsessed with right now: ice cream Shar-Pei puppies. They’re little, they’re cute, they melt when you don’t eat them fast enough, and they’re only available at one shop in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

J.C.co Art Kitchen’s pastry chefs only make 100 of these wildly popular treats per day. The ice cream gets its shape from a plastic mold, and extra details are applied by hand before the dogs are served to guests. These delicious pups successfully cross the uncanny valley, with one fan of the ice cream Shar-Peis telling the BBC, “When its eyes are looking at you, it really feels like a real dog is looking at you.” It’s a brilliant creation, especially considering the fact that people on the internet already love dogs that look like treats and vice versa.
The ice cream Shar-Peis are so realistic that it’s actually really creepy to see someone crack through their skulls with the wooden gelato spoon, as depicted in the Newsweek video above. And since all of the puppies are made from the same mold, it’s also very eerie to see several of them assembled together on a table, like an ice cream dog army heading off to war.
