Description

Complex PA systems, for example in airports, Railway stations, industrial companies, office and administration buildings the etc., have at least one multi-channel electroacoustic (ELA) system that can be operated via different microphone units is controllable. Via the operator stations can i. d. R. user-guided, the to be sonicated Select areas and next to the voice announcement via micro fon also alarms, gong signals, automatic text announcements or Trigger combinations of these. The operator stations are Processor controlled, d. H. each with an operating computer (Call station PC), and via a data network, z. B. LAN, with the control of the electro-acoustic system connected. The electro-acoustic system is also controlled On the supply side via a server computer on the data network closed. The transmission of audio signals from the operator microphone units or other audio signal sources (e.g. auto matic announcement) to the electro-acoustic system So far via separate NF cabling, which is particularly the case with large-scale public address systems can be very expensive.

The invention is therefore based on the task of wiring reduce effort.

According to the invention the object is achieved by a loading sound system in which the audio signals differ from at least one multi-channel operator station electroacoustic system are supplied, which means operating computer assigned to the individual operator stations is controllable, the operating computer on a data network are connected, to which the electroacoustic system is connected on the control side via a server computer, and wherein the audio signals correspond to the operator stations Converted according to the Internet protocol "Voice over IP" (VoIP)  and over the data network to the server computer will carry the converted audio signals back to back-converted and via audio signal lines of the electro acoustic system.

The main advantage of the sound system according to the invention plant lies in the use of the for the control of the elek troacoustic system due to the different operating microphone units already existing data network, z. B. LAN Network, for the transmission of audio signals, so that previous separate NF cabling is saved. So that he there is flexible networking of the operator stations, for example, when moving within a building proves to be very advantageous. Due to the use of the Internet protocol full for converting audio signals can be network products available on the market are used or is as far as possible compatibility guaranteed with other available network products. So far, VoIP has only been used in the telecommunications sector with one low LF bandwidth used; the invention uses VoIP for the first time and advantageously for applications in the field PA technology.

The audio signals are converted according to VoIP before preferably in the respective assigned to the operator stations Operating computers, which are equipped with the appropriate functions are equipped.

While VoIP so far only in the telecommunications sector a low LF bandwidth was used in the Public address system according to the invention the audio signals before or after their conversion back preferably using a broadband codec, in particular MPEG3, compressed or decompressed.

The redundancy requirement that is important for safety systems can be in the PA system according to the invention  particularly simple way thanks to a redundant electro battery table system, which is connected to another server Computer is connected to the data network.

Finally, the sound system according to the invention offers a back channel suitable without additional cabling Lichen audio signal path by the electro-acoustic Additional acoustic signals recorded by the system Server computers converted to the Internet protocol VoIP and are transmitted over the data network.
