1 . 2次電池により供給される電力によって動作する機器に搭 載され、 上記 2次電池からの供給電力を制御する電力制御装置に おいて、
上記 2次電池における電池セルの温度が予め設定された温度 を超えた場合に、 省電力モー ドに移行して動作することを上記機 器に対して要求すること
を特徴とする電力制御装置。
2 . 機器に搭載された 2次電池からの供給電力を制御する電力 制御方法において、
上記 2 次電池における電池セルの温度を検出するセル温度検 出ステップと、
上記セル温度検出ステップにおいて検出した温度が予め設定 された温度を超えた場合に、 省電力モー ドに移行して動作する こ とを上記機器に対して要求する動作モー ド制御ステップとを有 していること
を特徴とする電力制御方法。
3 . (補正後) 2次電池によ り供給される電力によって動作す る情報処理装置において、
上記 2 次電池における電池セルの温度が予め設定された温度 を超えた場合に、 省電力モー ドに移行して動作することを要求す る電力制御部を備えていること
を特徴とする情報処理装置。
4 . 上記電力制御部から省電力モー ドへの移行が要求された場 合に、 この旨をユーザに通知する動作モー ド移行通知手段をさ ら 補正された用紙 (条約第 19条) 003/065493

1 1 . (追加) 上記電力制御部は、 現在電力供給が行われてい る 2 次電池における電池セルの温度が予め設定された温度を超 えている場合で、 且つ、 現在電力供給が行われていない 2次電池 における電池セルの温度も予め設定された温度を超えている或 いは前記現在電力供給が行われていない 2次電池が電力供給が 可能でない場合には、 省電力モー ドに移行して動作するこ とを要 求する
ことを特徴とする請求項 3 に記載の情報処理装置。
1 2 . (追加) 上記情報処理装置に備えられた C P Uの温度を 監視し、 前記電力制御部に通知する A T F部を更に備えており、 前記電力制御部は、 前記電池セルの温度が前記省電力モー ドに 移行して動作する温度を超えた場合に、 前記 A T F部によ り検出 された前記 C P Uの温度を、 予め設定された温度を越える値に設 定して、 前記消費電力を低減させる
