It's Apple quality. It's Apple expensive. But there are better, lower cost cases out there.

If you own an iPhone 16 model, the new Camera Capture button is treated as a cutout by most other case manufacturers. I wanted a case which provided a way to use it natively, without it being unprotected by a case. So of course, Apple thought of this and has built in a capacitive touch Camera Capture button into their new cases for iPhone 16. And it works perfectly, just like it would work unprotected.

So why did I only give the case 3 stars? The bottom of the case covers the two corners only, while leaving a significant space where the microphone/speaker and USB C charging port are, completely unprotected. If you drop your phone accidentally, you risk dinging your shiny Titanium phone where it is unprotected. I also found the buttons not nearly as clicky as they should be. Otherwise, the case is well made and packaged as you would expect from Apple. It's coated to reduce scratching and it's non-yellowing too.

There are now other case manufactures who have taken the time to build their case with a capacitive touch Camera Control button into their cases and they cost a lot less, so I now have two of them, and they work great, plus provide full protection to the entire outside of the phone.

I've always purchased other brands for phone cases, but now with the iPhone 16 having the new dedicated camera button (with sliding and light press functions), I wanted a case that would provide the same usability as without a case. I also wanted a clear case, though in the past, clear cases that I've used tended to discolor over time.

Apple does not disappoint. The case is very solid and looks like it will provide more than adequate protection for the phone. The case itself seems to be scratch resistant as well, I've had it on since release day and not a single noticeable scratch. Time will tell, but I am hoping that there will be no discoloration. Lastly, the new camera button functions flawlessly and is an actual button instead of a cutout like a lot of other cases. You can use the finger slide and light press gestures just as you would without a case.

This product is amazing. I recently purchased a iPhone 16 pro and this case was the first case that came to mind.

When I went outside to play basketball my phone was in my pocket and when I jumped unfortunately it fell out. But luckily this case protected my phone.

I took it off to find that there was no damage at all.

It saved my phone at a great height but for exchange for the drop the case has cracks over it. It’s understandable as I dropped it on concrete while jumping in the air. I would rather have the case have a bit of cracks than a £999 phone having scratches or dents because of a drop.

Overall I would rate this product 5/5 because of this and I would recommend it.

The only issue I got is that because it is clear it is very slippery so if you want to stand it against a bottle on the table it will just slide off. But after a while of having the case it has gotten a bit better and it won’t slide off.

I’m very careful with my iphones. I decided to go with this Apple case because it was a clear case. The case is so slick it will almost fly out of your hands. I hadn’t dropped an iphone in over there years. Then two days after getting the new 16 Pro and this case I dropped it getting out of the car in my garage. The screen protector shattered in the corner. Im waiting to get the replacement screen protector before I remove it to see if the screen underneath also cracked . It is my belive the case being too slick and smooth contributed to me dropping the phone. Ive also dropped it on my carpeted floor but no damage. I’ll be getting a new case ASAP.
