I'd give it a 3.5 stars for the Chung Tai World Museum. Will definitely have to go back for the wood museum and the other building. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The place is clean and they have a self-serve coffee/tea lounge area upstairs. You can take photo of the building and the lobby but nothing pass the ticket area. There's 3 floors and sometimes they have special exhibits. They do have 2 digital interactive activities in the first floor. One is to take a digital photo to make an e-card to send to yourself then to friends and family. Another one is to digitally pat down the historic objects to show the whole piece. There's an area on the third floor for people to write postcards and stamp stamps on the postcard. The next time the person brings the postcard with the stamp, the admission is free. Parking lot is free too and there's a lot of spaces.

Admission is free of charge. U dont have to be a Buddhist, visit here for the the beautiful buildings r very worthy too. Construction of the building combined both Chinese and Western styles. Its very different from the typical temples we have seen before. Also its very close to The Sun Moon lake. Two of the biggest sights in Nantou. This is a must go ! U can also make reservations in advance for the guide inside of the main temple which is a very peaceful experience.

There are a ton of statues and things to look at, but it can start to feel redundant unless you are specifically paying your respects. The view outside is nice as well and you can see the Buddha's hand imprint in the mountain - said to have protected the statue and area below during a landslide. Lots of tourists, so it's hard to get clean photos.
